Pros – People, location, and good music on sundays.
Cons – sometimes feels greasy (near the waterway, not always the best cleaned tables0
Advice to Senior Management – do what you've always been doing.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company
Pros – Bluewater is a great place to start working if you don't have much experience as a bartender. They gave me a shot bartending with almost no experience, and I learned a lot!
Cons – Management...some of the management can be hard to get along with at times, but what place isn't like that?
Advice to Senior Management – Take your job seriously...but not TOO seriously. When I worked there, I had some problems with management because they let that get to their heads. They forgot what a great work environment Bluewater Grill really is, and what it can be.
Pros – Good money year round if you are good and liked. Clientele are outstanding....they range from generous to friendly to extremely gorgeous
Cons – If you are not a top performer, you will not get the best sections and shifts and thus will not make nearly as much as the top performers...not even close
Advice to Senior Management – Select and train employees extremely well and set the corporate culture and precedence up front, then step out of the way and let us do what we do best
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
Pros – You can make $100-300 a night, however, you will have to have gained the trust and confidence of management and senior employees in order to get the best sections and to be put on the banquet parties. The people are great to work with and the job is very entrepreneurial
Cons – There are three bars in which customers can choose, so on a slow night, it will be even slower for the bartenders. The management is mostly clueless, and refers to the manual for every decision that needs to be made instead of accessing the situation at hand.
Advice to Senior Management – Employees work 100% for the customers because of the incentives in place (tips)....so let them! and listen to them!
