    Pros

Fun coworkers, fast paced, fun, simple job, great first job, easy application and interview, good way to make wonderful friends

    Cons

Okay, this job was my first job and i have not cried this much at a business ever. Most of the management is kind but some acts like Bob Evans is the most important thing ever, this job is easy but management sometimes makes it a living hell, unfair hours, i was working like 15 hours when i was out of college, 25-27 when i was in college, (aiding in my flunking half my classes) when i told the GM that i had another job, i was bumped form 15 hours to 30+, which basically screwed me over with getting out of this place, i have been bullied by the GM multiple times, i have been to the point of sobbing, which i think is unprofessional for a business manager, i am constantly exhausted, because of my schedule now, management allows employees to go on tyrants and get away with anything and everything, GM hires unreliable people, overall a horrible place besides meeting amazing people in the same hell-boat.

    Advice to Management

STOP BEING SO IGNORANT, stop bullying employees, stop discriminating, STOP TAKING SMOKE BREAKS ON THE PROPERTY, follow regulation

Need to be able to keep up with a fast pace work load.

    Advice to Management

Upper Management needs to focus more on the customers rather then the food coast.

    Pros

Can train for another area or job title if the position is open. The hours were flexible and was able to work out a schedule that worked with other obligations I had.

    Cons

Long hours on your feet with minimum wage salary. Often times management fails to give proper reprimands towards employees who do not do their work, leaving you to pick up the slack.

    Pros

Meal discounts and good with day you request off for vacation

    Cons

The only time you make tips is in the morning and they only have the people with seniority work in the morning but they suck!

    Advice to Management

Know who is a better server and give them the best hours!

    Pros

Close to home. Great staff...for the most part. Tips...

    Cons

Management is the worst i have ever worked for. Bullying staff and crossing lines as far as how they treat their employees. Policies not followed. Lack of following NY state laws as well. Management does what they want not what company wants. Lack in training of new hires and lack of support for all employees equally.

    Advice to Management

Contact corporate and have them retrain all of you. Advise to corporate...need to pay more attention to your restaurants and who you have running them. Maybe make an effort to have someone (other than area director/manager) regularly visit your restaurants and spend a few days in the restaurant day and night observing management and staff. Maybe even sit down and seriously listen to staff concerns.

  10. I enjoy working for this company. Works well with my school schedule

    Pros

The people you work with are amazing so friendly and make you feel like family. Very helpful when you need a hand. Uniform is pretty casual and comfortable. Majority of the food is good.

    Cons

Managers need some training, things you learn working there is disgusting an makes you never want to eat out again. Watching all the things that happens in back is just unsettling.

    Advice to Management

I think some of the stores preferably Irwin pa's Bob Evans needs new managers or they need taught about food service and what is healthy and not healthy example.. Don't just cut moldy spots off of vegetables and continue to serve them to customers and don't change the dates on expired foods when the inspector comes around.
