I have been working at Bob Jones University full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Health insurance plan, discounted educational costs for children, take one class at a time per semester for free while working full time, life insurance, access to university facilities (i.e. fitness center), good Christian company values.

    Cons

Low pay, unless both spouses work, cannot make it on one BJU income. Would be OK for single person with cheap apartment.

I have been working at Bob Jones University

    Pros

I have a great boss. Who is ready and willing yo help out. The hours are super flexible to your schedule, being a student this aspect is a must.

    Cons

    Low pay.
Some workers though super nice are inexperienced. Or not qualified for the jobs they have.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't just appoint GA Bible majors to discipleship positions. Make sure they are able to help the students. To often I hear about girls who go to a dorm counselor and leave scarred.

I worked at Bob Jones University part-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Very skilled bosses who truly cared about my well being. They gave me promotions and even transferred me to other jobs based upon what would be best for me. They looked out for my best interest

    Cons

Working in the dining common was difficult. I had to work every other Sunday. There are also some roles in the student life staff where we had to enforce rules that really should be removed or restructured.
