Web Design (Former Employee) Greenville, SC

    Prosgreat coworkers, clean workplace.
    Very light work load.
two free college classes every year

ConsLow pay, no benefits for family with little kids or those that want to Home School.
Many of the co-works are only there to get free benefits.

Advice to Senior ManagementGet some direction on where you are going. Stop Micromanaging

    Awesome management

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsI have a great boss. Who is ready and willing yo help out. The hours are super flexible to your schedule, being a student this aspect is a must.

    ConsLow pay.
Some workers though super nice are inexperienced. Or not qualified for the jobs they have.

Advice to Senior ManagementDon't just appoint GA Bible majors to discipleship positions. Make sure they are able to help the students. To often I hear about girls who go to a dorm counselor and leave scarred.

Very challenging and promoted personal growth in countless ways

Dining Common Worker/Checkout Desk (Former Employee) Greenville, SC

ProsVery skilled bosses who truly cared about my well being. They gave me promotions and even transferred me to other jobs based upon what would be best for me. They looked out for my best interest

ConsWorking in the dining common was difficult. I had to work every other Sunday. There are also some roles in the student life staff where we had to enforce rules that really should be removed or restructured.

Advice to Senior ManagementKeep up the good work. Keep moving forward. Don't go backwards.

    It was a job.

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsThere were pockets of friendly, caring employees. Depending on where you worked and with whom, living out your Christian faith was real and honest.

ConsAtmosphere promotes legalism and a tattletale mentality, rulebook fostered employees to lie, transparency was not tolerated.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

If I would work anywhere in the world, it would be Bob Jones University.

Support Services Supervisor, Dixon-McKenzie Dining Common (Former Employee)

ProsI love the Biblical foundation that under girds everything about the school.

ConsCompensation is low (though benefits are unparalleled), making it hard to stay with the University without supplemental income.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
