Pros
Fun work environment, great place to hone your competitive sales abilities. Plenty of benefits are available to workers after 90 days.
Cons
Unfortunately, a commission sales environment can cause some individuals to act on questionable ethics when competing on the sales floor.
Advice to Senior Management
The local managers need to listen to the employees in order to maintain a firmer control on the issues challenging the sales floor.
Pros
Money, money,money,money,money,money, nothing more really
Cons
Upper management, cutthroat, dishonesty, favoritism
Advice to Senior Management
Be honest

they give a lot of priases and kudos
they pay well for entry level positions
they offer sick days, 401k, and vaction days
new positions are avalible often
the co-workers are nice to work with
Cons
you have to take a 30 min unpaid break a day for an 8 hur shift
in my position customers yell at you all day, everyday
pevious managerial experience really doesn't matter there
comments and suggestions are brushed aside
Advice to Senior Management
offer employees the option to work 4 10.50 hour shifts, employees will call out less
shift changes should be offered to those with senority first, while new hires should be made to work closing shifts
Pros
fixed prices on quality furniture
Cons
delivery problems due to driver error or mistakes
Advice to Senior Management
get better feedback from IT people who may be working as sales associates. Re-read resumes as you may find people better suited to more avanced jobs then sales
Pros
Bob's management team wants everyone to succeed. They will do whatever it takes to help you be successful in your job. If you are willing to learn and give of yourself, they will do whatever they can to help you make it.
Cons
Some of the departments that are part of the operations of Bob's are not run as smoothly as they could. There are some inconsistencies in following procedures, but progress is being made.
Advice to Senior Management
The management team at Bob's needs no advice from me. They are the best that I have ever worked with and I am proud to work with all of them.
Pros

Cons
pay is low and below standards instead of excuses about the economy when sales are above normal just give fair raises
