    It was very professional setting, customers was very nice and professional at times, my coworkers was great.

    Some of the management was not fair

    Can't think of any. Bob's offers a lot of opportunities, training, and a very competitive income.

    Pros

    Very understanding, amazing management with previous floor experience for the company, family oriented, such a positive environment

    Cons

    The delivery aspect that goes on outside of the store makes a lot of mistake and in turn reflects upon the sales associates leading to some angry customers.

    Pros

    Free cafe, across the street from a better furniture store, next door to aceme food store, Down the street from the King of Prussia mall

    Cons

    The worst furniture store in America, terrible quality products, treats employees like they were slaves most of the time. Steer clear of Bob's Discount Furniture, prefer Raymour & Flanagan across the street, pays employees next to nothing but employees do all the work.

    pay and bonus structure good

    Cons

    growing pains, conflicting direction from different departments, HR ineffective lets the tail wag the dog, they don't do their job. They keep underperforming associates. No accountability. If your part of the gang your in. Computer systems very slow and business reports are not useful. Have to compile information needed yourself. Each store tracks their business differently, not uniform, no structure. Upper management will tell you one thing and do another. Opening stores fast need to build the infrastructure to support it. If your a yes man this company is for you!

    Advice to Management

    Get it together and get everyone moving in the same direction. Hold HR accountable to clean up the messes. Get your reports in order and make it uniform from store to store.

    Pros

    Company geared towards customer satisfaction. Good benefits for FT associates. Vac & sick time for both FT/PT associates. Fun environment at times.

    Cons

    Inconsistency regarding day-to-day processes, disciplinary action (associates/management). Training for office positions need to longer than one week process and local to reduce company cost. Management vetting process needs to be improved and implimentation of MIT program needed if the company intends to expand at the rate they are going successfully High turnover

    Advice to Management

    Be consistent with training and all HR policies and stop turning a blind eye to employee fraternization it creates a toxic environment.

    Opportunity to set your salary goal, standard benefits.

    Cons

    Store managers are not held accountable for their actions, and have an attitude that they walk on water. The HR department is a joke, regardless the countless complaints about the managers' behavior, they turn a blind eye and our concerns are not addressed.

    HR, take action, do your job.

    Pros

    Great culture, good business model, supportive management. Even corporate is supportive like HR and LP.

    Cons

    Nothing really, the company listens to the employees and does what it can. I don't have any issues.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work. Just make sure you all are on the same page. I like the corporate visits like seeing the CEO and the guy from HR.
