Pros
The products are amazing. The discount rocks. If you really take pride in your work this can be a very uplifting and fun environment.
Cons
The upper management is extremely unfair. The company has unrealistic goals set for it's employees. The moral is generally not too great within the store. There is competition for sales between team, which makes it's a tough environment. Your job is in danger if you do not make all of your given sales goals. Customers get really upset because their products are rarely in stock. Seems like there is just not enough man power to keep the place running smoothly.
Advice to Senior Management
Be fair and square to all of your team in order to ensure that there is professionalism consistently.

Good discount, small floor size and easy going (for the most part) atmosphere with customers. Good "values."
Cons
Attempt to be competitive with similar brands, reveals lack of direction and poor marketing. Inferior pay rate, especially considering the expectations from senior management. Senior Management doesn't really know what their expectations should be. Supposed values are really a thinly veiled marketing scheme, or poor attempt at feigning compassion.
Advice to Senior Management
Resurrect Anita Roddick, follow her ideas or continue flailing in deep water until drowned.

mangers are friendly- they actually communicate with you and care about your life
hours are some what flexible- make sure to ask earlier if you what to take some days off

customers can be really annoying at times. also we have to stand on our feet the whole day, not to mention cleaning up the stock rooms and handling deliveries.
Advice to Senior Management
i know you guys are trying to be friendly and acting life our best friends, but sometimes you need to act as a manger too. and stop favoring the old employees over the new ones.
Pros
The products are great, easy to sell and you can stand behind their quality. When you have a good team everything runs smoothly and it's a fun environment. They do alot of contests as incentive, and there is a bonus structure for full time employees.
Cons
No career advancement, and the distort manager for the greater phildelphia area is disliked by all shops in the district due to malicious attitude and severe favoritism, as well as a very condescending nature. Very poor pay for all positions.
Advice to Senior Management
Take a more personal interest in your higher and peer management. Listen to calls to HR. Pay employees better.

40 % discount is the best part
the benefits programs were flexible because you had choices of where you wanted to go, as well as what coverage you wanted, however as of january 2011, they will no longer offer the flexiblility and choices that they do now. in addition, employees are now being asked to change their coverage options.
Cons
no balance between work and home. hr is in wakeforest, north carolina and is horrible about following up and follow through with store issues, new hires, new pay rates, ect. you are completely replaceable with out blinking an eye. pay vs. work load is ridiculous. they pay so little and expect so much in comparision to other companys out there

they need to focus on training, they promote people without giving them the training they need and then they fire you for poor job performance

Management did not treat all employees fairly in regards to shifts worked. hours should be given out according to seniority with performance considered.
