I worked at Bodycote Thermal Processing full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Very stable company with plenty of growth opportunities and potential. Vast knowledge and training was available at first.

    Cons

Management above plant level seemed to have their own personal agendas. The experienced people were let go along with all of the dying experience of the trade. Typical large corporation..."ladder climbers" will do anything to advance themselves. Managed all aspects of the business by spreadsheet.

    Advice to Management

There is a huge difference between an experienced, knowledgeable, dedicated person and a warm body to fill a position. Build relationships with your employees so they can learn to do the same with customers.

Management is doing fantastic job. Look at the annual report and financials on their website. Continue with the great job they are doing.
