I worked at Bojangles' part-time (more than a year)

    Pros

got to meet new people and got to work with some cool managers

    Cons

rules about no handbags and book bags sucked as some of people are in school and do there homework when the are on break and some of the people walk to and from work and carry a small umbrella or a raincoat and the handbags are for when the women have there monthlies in them or as myself my sugar tester and meds in one

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

please remove the no handbag rule and pervade some lockers in the work place

I worked at Bojangles' part-time (less than a year)

    Pros

They were flexible on hours, since I was working two jobs. They would work around my other jobs schedule.

    Cons

Management was never on one accordance. As a former employee I noticed how you could tell one manager information and they wouldn't relay to other managers to inform them.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Try to have weekly meetings or conferences where you all are on one accordance of whats going in the store.

    Pros

Fair wages, great food, awesome customers, and very teamwork oriented.

    Cons

Turnover, opportunity for growth on the franchise side is slim, long hours, little compensation for hard work.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Push your managers hard like you do but always praise them and give them something to look forward to coming back to.

    I worked at Bojangles'

    Pros

    Opportunity -- sort of
    Food if okay

    Cons

Looking for reasons to not pay promised bonuses
Will not share P&Ls or even budgets, however expect one to "magically know" what to do
Protect and retain those who have been accused of sexual harassment by simply relocating to another location

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Avoid, but if "have to," then keep a record of everything you do to avoid false accusations

I worked at Bojangles' full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

Not too many pros to think about besides having good food, decent co-workers, friendly customers, and weekly pay.

    Cons

    * Offers no health benefits to regular employees: To me, it draws a red flag
    * Can't work no more than 28 hours a week if your'e a full-time employee: 28 hours is still part-time
    * Young, Rude/Unprofessional Managers lacks common sense on basic things that are so elementary.
    * Some of the managers there micromanage workers on how to do their job: STOP That, for real!!
    * They also call you in on your day off, and change your work schedule if warranted.
    * No room for job growth.
    * Minimum wage pay

This job really wasn't for me from the get-go...I will not ever work for or walk-in this restaurant for the location in question again .

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If store management can't treat employees right, terminate them; because they don't deserve to be managers; employees will walk out and quit on them. That causes high-staff turnover rate which will comeback and bite management big time...Just that simple!! And, one more thing, STOP misleading job applicants with false advertisement on starting pay in certain locations.
