I worked at Bollinger
Pros – They do have a good work - life balance but not much else.
Cons – Senior management is all related. This is a prime example why extreme nepotism in the work place should not be practiced. Not much room to advance either laterally or vertically. Was asked to skirt several grey areas of ethical standards. My department - management had no clue how to effectively run their departments. Most senior managers waiting to retire. Sold to investment firm, so decision making ability has been eroded. No 401K, health benefits were marginal. Pay marginal. Not too many reasons to stay. I learned very little about the industry while working here.
Advice to Senior Management – Hire new blood. Get new staff and new ways of thinking. Become an employee owned company again.

I have been working at Bollinger
Pros – Great PTO program and benefits. Technology is up to date and excellent. Very innovative. Not a whole lot to say regarding the positive
Cons – Ever since the purchase by a private equity firm, things have been terrible. The company looks to cut off its nose to spite its face. Saves a dime and it winds up costing them a quater by way of a lost customer. Morale is terrible in all offices, departments, etc. They want 10% more out of the work force this year and they are taking at the same time.
Advice to Senior Management – Look around you and take an honest assessment of whats going on. It is not the marketplace, it is how things have changed since the dissolution of the ESOP. The Mantra used to be, "our employees" come first. That is no longer the case.
