    Preparing for a solid future

Aerospace Engineer (Current Employee) Montreal, QC (Canada)

ProsMany projects in development will assure solid future for upcoming years. Workload is high during development and flight test of new aircraft. Interesting work. Compensation is competitive locally. Good benefits. New programs present opportunities for advancement.

ConsApproach to implementation of quality initiatives somewhat robotic. Integration function given a lot of importance, at the expense of technical expertise, Many projects dilute technical expertise somewhat.

Great company, with lots of opportunity

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsGood work-life balance, good oppotunity for development thanks to a pretty solid career and personal development program. Fun to work for an organization who`s products get lots of media attention, it can help put your daily work into perspective.

ConsAs with many companies, it takes alot of hard work and networking to get ahead. There is alot of internal movement but of course alot of competition.

Strong company heavily leveraged on new programs

Senior Quality Engineer (Current Employee) Montreal, QC (Canada)

ProsOutside the box creativity, transparency to all levels of management and they are willing to invest in employee development. The company promotes from within when the talent is available.Outside the box creativity, transparency to all levels of management. They are willing to invest in employee development and the company promotes from within when the talent is available. The company puts a high emphasis customer satisfaction and empowered the employees to help achieve this objective. With several new programs underway it is an exciting time to work for the company.

ConsSome projects are to some degree disjointed and as with all large companies work silos are a challenge to overcome.

Advice to Senior ManagementStay focused on the big picture

    Never a dull moment!

Talent Acquisition Advisor (Former Employee) Toronto, ON (Canada)

ProsIt's a great company to recruit for. The calibre of people working there are the best I've worked with. The hiring managers were extremely impressive people! Everyone is very proud to be there as was I! Lots of long tenured employees. It's an incredibly interesting place to work!

ConsWith any large company there will always be changes in process. There is process improvement but then there are extremes. If you like routine and are bothered with constant changes in policies and procedures, then this will be an issue. Lots of turnover in Human Resources.

Advice to Senior ManagementEmployees there need to take more vacation. There seems to be a very high level of stress and pressure and that can be relieved with more time off. Some employees under a certain pay grade are not entitled to take any vacation days during their first 12 months of employment and I found that to be strange.

Good company, many great people, but messy management

Manufacturing Engineering (Current Employee) Montreal, QC (Canada)

ProsGood opportunities to move inside of the company for the career growth, benefit package is pretty good. Long holidays during Christmas holidays.

ConsMiddle management was lying to make a story to cover their mistake. They did not follow the company's procedures.

Advice to Senior ManagementDo not lie to employees.

    Just OK

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsWork life balance is good. Environment is very chilled out and relaxed.

ConsThe company is pretty much set in its ways and not much scope to contribute outside of the set ways. Not much focus on improvements or research, unless your boss is interested. Cost containment is in effect. Pay is very very poor. Sometimes projects are not very well managed and leads to delays and panics.

Advice to Senior ManagementStimulate and Nurture your team, and the company shall grow and so shall you. Take seriously the next gen ideas, as only they can raise you above par. Please Oh Please, Think Outside The Box !!

Good potential to learn, but has management issues

Materials and Processes Engineer (Current Employee) Montreal, QC (Canada)

ProsIntegrated team environment helps employees to interact between various functions and learn a lot more. Benefits are good compared to the local marketplace. Good work-life balance.

ConsLack of fairness in management. Dedicated and delivering employees are not appreciated unless you're "friend" with the management. Lots of office politics which is frustrating at times. Difficult to grow even if the performance is beyond expectations. There is always an excuse when it comes to promotion. HR is working for managers only.

Advice to Senior ManagementBe fair to your employees and appreciate and nurture the good work of those who are dedicated.
