Pros
The company is family oriented with good benefits
Cons
There is limited advancement opportunity
Pros
Due to non-published schedules, each day is different. Great if you don't like routine.
Cons
Holiday work required in operations.
Pros
Treat employees well, good cofee
Cons
No rom for upward growth in marketing
Advice to Senior Management
Promote from within
Pros
retirement benefits are pretty good, pay seems to be in line with market, most people are helpful, courteous, and well grounded.
Cons
Senior leadership has some weird personalities, very hard to get a read on them, but seem to make sound decisions most of the time.
Pros
great benefits, good pay, wonderful employees, easy location, pleasant surroundings, my manager was the best, let you do your job without hovering
Cons
no room for advancement, value outsiders more than current employees when filling job openings, limited pay increases, no communication between departments... one department fixes their problem by creating a problem for another department
Advice to Senior Management
Pay more attention to the annual employee survey. There are obvious problems being revealed, but you choose to fix the the easy surface issues.
Pros
Great people, interesting products, private jets.
Cons
Poor communication across company, employees disengaged.
Pros
aviation , new , good people , fun
Cons
time line s , peer support
Pros
The people I work with are wonderful. The only part I look forward to each day is the time I get to spend with my co-workers. The company has that 'cool' factor, as you get to talk to a lot of different people who you read about in the news and you run some of the companies.
Cons
Wow, the downside of here is there is no room for advancement. Upper managment does not care about the people who are truly the back bone of the company, they are more concerned with making the numbers, however you are able to get them. No direction, no leadership, hardly any support, I never see my boss, boss man stays in office all day and only sees any of the employees when they go to talk to them.
Advice to Senior Management
Advice to management, get rid of those people in the corner offices and find someone how will lead and grow the team. Don't be so naive that the employees aren't looking to the competitor for job opportunties and don't think they won't take some of the database with them. Get leaders that will lead!
Pros
Working at FlexJet, I worked 40 hours a week, had 3 weeks vacation, and had decent benefits.
The work environment was friendly and the other employees were generally helpful.
Certain departments offered flex-time for salaried employees. Unlke true flex time, you do have to pick your starting time and work your eight hours. Starting times were generally between 7a - 9:30a.
Cons
Very limited advancement opportunities. Most of the team had been in the same positions for over 5 years.
The norm for reviews was a 3% increase unless you found a way to save the company millions of dollars.
Double standards for certain enmployees. There seemed to be some "chosen" employees who would work outside the norms such as working from home, not following standard processes, and no accountability for failing to perform their job function.
Advice to Senior Management
When you see a quality talent be proactive in finding a place for them, otherwise they will seek opportunities elsewhere.
