Pros
Patient-centered mission is part of everyone's job. Good benefits.

Work/life balance is a challenge in finance and administration.
Pros
Great mission

Great benefits
Co-workers/Volunteers supportive of each other

Loved working in a place where you can speak freely of God
Cons
Upper management did not follow the mission nor care for employees
Secret promotions
No room for growth professionally
You can get fired for anything even if you worked for the company for several years
Advice to Senior Management
I really would suggest removing the upper management out of the hospice house and replacing with those who really care about hospice and the patients
Pros
Clean organized hospital, beautiful. Lovely garden and cafeteria
Cons
You have to pretend you want to be here - or else they get rid of you. Its called "engagement"
They coerce you saying you like being her for gallup - all goes for their bottom dollar - beware.
Advice to Senior Management
It's not really about engagement. Its the game you make us play
Pros
great employees and good people are hired to work there
Cons
no growth income is not good
Pros
Great opportunities for early careerists. Excellent health and work life benefits. Strong commitment to diversity and inclusion. Very strong leadership and collaborative decision making.
Cons
Highly matrixed organizational structure sometimes leads to lack of clarity in roles and responsibilities. Also, local systems are not always aligned with corporate office. Geographic spread and differences in service line mixes sometimes create silos within the company.
Advice to Senior Management
Management should consider redesigning and or simplifying the organizational structure to alleviate silos and foster clarity of roles and responsibilities.

Cons
- Certain management has damaging pull within the company
- Always adding more employees when not really necessary for work load

Make sure that you are investigating certain hiring practices within the company. May want to revisit merit increase amounts as they are not competitive with other companies.
