Current Employee – been working at Bond No 9 full-time for more than a year
Pros – Great pay. Great fragrances. Sorry, couldn't think of 20 words for pros.
Cons – Work 1 year before any time is allowed off. Mandatory to work every Saturday, no exceptions. No pay for sick days. Mandatory to call 100 people a day, even though they get tired of you calling. Hard to understand them because they all have heavy accents.
Advice to Senior Management – Allow employees 1 Saturday a month. They will be a lot happier to do their job if you just lighten up!
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend

Former Employee – worked at Bond No 9 full-time
Pros – Bond No 9 has great products; hours are reasonable.
Cons – Senior management is very difficult. Time off and benefits are very poor. Extremely high turnover. Low morale. Unhappy employees.

Former Employee – worked at Bond No 9 full-time for more than a year
Pros – Great pay
Weekly paycheck
Beautiful product
Fabulous customers
Direct mailers are a great way to thank and invite clients back into the store
Cons – Abusive management and owner creates a very toxic environment
Excessive paperwork and faxing is ridiculous and unnecessary
Must call a minimum of 20 clients a day. During special events or promotions you must call 100 clients a day. No exceptions! If you do not follow the rigorous clientele guidelines, the whole company will receive an email about your performane and you will receive a personal scathing email from the owner Laurice.
Must send out a minimum of 20 direct mailers a day. How is one to call 20-100 people, send out 60 samples, and make your sales goal for the day each and everyday? There aren't enough hours in the day to legitimately do this.
Passive Agressive daily communication from management team and owner
Being early or late (even by 5 minutes) is considered company theft
No holiday pay
No paid time off
No time off
Not flexible
No gratis
Advice to Senior Management – It's too bad such a beautiful brand is such a fraud. You need to dramatically improve your internal customer service skills and get rid of that little and old, man-o-rexic diva. What a joke!
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

Current Employee – been working at Bond No 9
Pros – It's an expensive line, so if you can get commission, potentially you could make a lot more than other cosmetic companies.
Cons – Lots of pressure to sell... it's never enough. Each new week is a blank slate. Not too many ways to move up since it's a small company.
Advice to Senior Management – More specific employee reviews. Being fair with compensation. Be a little more flexible with time employees might need off.
