    Pros

Got a good welcome by HR with an invitation to pizza express free of charge. Induction was well presented and social drink every Friday. You can bring your pet too This is in their Waterloo office. Not the same in their sevenoaks branch. Customer Service Director seemed very pleasant

    Cons

Had no proper training as the person showing processes and procedures had no time to cover all the material. To busy taking calls and carrying her daily overload pile of work. Team members assigned to support and train me had no regards to my need for help. Often been spoken down at or simply ignored. Being told everyone learned on the job and I should know that. Critidized the calls I made or the clients. Another colleague had the whole email of managers copied for an issue that could easily be resolve if the right processes where explained. Felt undermined by same team members over and over. It took 1h30 to get to their office in sevenoaks which is cramped, bad air circulation and a size of a large living room. Nobody talks to one another and Skype is the only way to communicate. Very depressing!! Don't work there!!

    Advice to Management

The style of dismissal in lieu of notice payment isn't the way forward to the growth of the company. This is a procedure they use to silence you with "bad performance" on your letter. Instead of crushing new comers when raising grievance or concerns about their pers, they should investigate and support them. It's a close shop

    Pros

Amazing people and culture, lots of opportunities, teamwork, competitive salaries, open to flexible working options, good career progression, looking after current employees

    Cons

Too many meetings, some old technology (but this is being improved)

    Advice to Management

Improve direct communication rather than using email, messaging and formal meetings

  3. A company aiming for growth above everything else. Think twice before accepting the role.

    Pros

People - The people there are good. You can expect Nerf bullets to be flying around from the IT guys - though this has reduced a lot since my time there.

    Cons

High high turnover of staff - each month an average of 7-8 people leave. Sick days - unless you are dying, you crawl into work. Office Politics - There are people in certain positions who seem to have more power then they should. be weary. Monitoring - they monitor your every move, if you are away from your desk, you can bet someone has spoken to your line manager regarding your "long" toilet breaks. Studies - They offer study packages after a year of service but was told you will not get a raise even after completing. Salary - My salary wasn't the worse in the market but my colleague has not had a pay rise in the last 4 years. Annual bonus - forget it, they don't give annual bonuses unless of course you are of an Executive Officer.

    Advice to Management

Listen not only to your management but to the staff who does the donkey work - recognise your companies high staff turnover and actively seek a solution to keep hold of good staff.

    Pros

Great people from all sorts of backgrounds - very multicultural. Lots of creative and inspiring thinkers with a belief and passion in what the company is trying to achieve.

    Cons

Career development happens but it's not structured, so you have to make your own luck.

    Cons

Live bookings n'est pas une société innovante, c'est très difficile de sortir du carcan de pensée. Mais le management est très sympa et les équipes aussi.

Live bookings is not an innovative company, it's very difficult to think outside the box. But the management is very cool, and teams too.
