I worked at Bosch Security (More than 8 years)

    Pros

The pay really good for the area

    Cons

Tension sometimes between hourly union associates and salaried associates

    Advice to Management

Listen to associates with process improvements

  2. Technical writing position wasn't bad, but wasn't good either.

I worked at Bosch Security as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

Flexible scheduling. You can build a good network of people/contacts if you so choose. Great choice for an engineer. Looks good on a résumé. Travel opportunities available for new positions.

    Cons

Super corporate. Fun and innovation is superficially encouraged. Cubicles galore (bad for a creative type like me). Lack of communication from management.

    Advice to Management

The communication could significantly improve. Often, I was informed of important information through the "grapevine system"—not directly. It's common knowledge among the employees that downward communication is no good.

    Pros

Fair compensation. Less bureaucracy. Tonnes of opportunities to grow within the organization as long as the associate is willing to move.

    Cons

Management has no clear vision. Lack of transparency in goals Promotions given to preferred associates. Company is bowing down to market pressure and compromising on quality

    Pros

I couldn't find any reason to work in Bosch except its well know brand name, but they really concentrate on to develope the best product in the world. it might be a good reason to be a part of Bosch after product is in the market.

    Cons

They don't treat their employee equally between their own German citizen and other countries employees. They don't like to share any information with you. they asked to get all information from you but they don't provide anything back to you. they always keep their opinion any decision as secret.

    Advice to Management

    More fairness for US workers
