I worked at Bosley full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Decent pay. No Sundays. Consult offices are fairly nice while HQ in Beverly Hills is shabby.

    Cons

counselors are not always honest when telling patients that they may need several hair transplants or that most of the people used in their advertising are employees. Lots of unqualified leads. Lots of dialer work calling patients all over the country. What a waste of time.

I worked at Bosley full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Month long training in Beverly Hills which included a generous stipend and a handful of great coworkers.

    Cons

Management used motivational techniques akin to high school cheerleading.

I worked at Bosley full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The physicians I met are great. They are treated like assembly like workers, however. It's a safe environment and you will never get fired for not doing your job. It's like having tenure as a government employee. Even the mediocre survive.

    Cons

The corporate office knows everything so you get no input. The have an incredible level of arrogance.

    Advice to Management

    Read the above.

I worked at Bosley full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

From a sales perspective it is very nice to not have to cold call and have sales appointments set up for you. Also, the offices are located in nice office buildings and a comfortable work environment is provided.

    Cons

During the time I worked for Bosley (5 years), they were continually changing things like the compensation plan (always seemed to be decreasing our compensation), the job requirements (like calls required, duties, etc.)

    Advice to Management

Generally everyone I worked with felt like we were continually asked to do more but receive less in compensation. People like to know their salaries will increase over time and also, most felt like management did not appreciate them. If you have to lower pay, why not offer 4 day work week or something will at least keep employees happy?

I worked at Bosley full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Coworkers are friendly. Free filtered water and bathroom access and the occasional 15 minute lunch break.

    Cons

Mgmt team leads through fear and intimidation, its clear that none of them have ever had any mgmt experience. Capped earnings due to limited capacity and sales tiers that change every few months...

    Advice to Management

Stop treating your employees like children. Listen to employee ideas. Ask your employees to review managers.

I worked at Bosley full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Upper management/leadership team seem to have open door policy, opportunities for growth, good performance review execution, benefits and free parking.

    Cons

Seemed like the budget was so strict that the culture was sometimes lacking, not enough get togethers outside of work to build team bonding.

I have been working at Bosley full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Good overall environment and nice people to work with. I've been here many years, as have most of the employees and that says something right there. Good job Bosley!

    Cons

Occasional long days. 401k matching would be nice.

    Advice to Management

Continue to look at all levels of employees for growth

I worked at Bosley full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    - Small groups of people are friendly

    Cons

    - Lack of upper management oversight - Middle managers interdepartmental politics and bullying - Never ending politics within departments - No opportunities for professional advancement

    Advice to Management

Take a look at your middle managers, they are wasting vast company resources and lowering employee morale. They are not acting in the best interests of the company using the company as a means to earn kick backs and perks from vendors.
