Repetative boring no pay increases

Pros

You get to work with a lot of pets, especially dogs. Many Bosleys locations feature adoptable cats which you can care for and play with. You get a fair bit of exercise lugging big bags of dog food. Most of the customers are pretty great people; they care about their pets and they want to do their best for them.

Cons

The bags of dog food can do a number on your back if you're not careful. Bosley's doesn't provide much training and support for this - learn how to lift properly and do it every time! You occasionally will come across irresponsible pet owners who will make you want to kill something. The POS system can occassionally be a... POS.

Advice to Senior Management

Don't get into a pissing contest with the regional manager. Be clear about what you want done. Exhibit clear leadership when faced with conflict.
