    Pros

The campus is beautiful, the students are very driven, competitive, and work very hard. Brand new laboratories and some world-class research. I really didn't want to ever leave...
    Heartbreak Hill / Boston Marathon!!

    Cons

I cant imagine anything negative about Boston College except that the Plex was extraordinarily hot in the summer-and of course its cold as hell in Boston during the winter

    Advice to Management

    keep up the good work

    Pros

A very collegial environment. The presence of both students and adults is a great combination. Colleagues are very genuine, caring, and helpful. Overall environment is great.

    Cons

Work does get a bit repetitive some days. But, there are always opportunities to work on different projects each week.

I worked at Boston College (More than a year)

    Pros

It was a great place to work because they were very fun and engaging. A lot of students like me had jobs and got to see the inner workings of the university. Very fun place.

    Cons

Wasn't full-time so there wasn't health insurance or anything. Otherwise, there aren't too many things to complain about. Wish I had gotten better pay or more hours, but it had to be shared among a group of students.

    Advice to Management

Provide more opportunities for students who want to help out around the school so they can earn a few extra bucks while they are attending the university.

    Pros

Its a much friendlier workplace than anywhere I've been.
The vacation time is generous and the health plan is very good.
There's always something interesting going on around you.

    Cons

People love their jobs, so the low turnover means that there's not a lot of growth opportunities.
Its very difficult to commute here from the suburbs.

    Advice to Management

Let's continue to make this a great place to work. We should also be more conscious of cost controls as higher education needs to be more affordable and that starts with us.

    Pros

great experience, especially if someone is considering pursuing a PhD degree in the future. Economics research is also particularly resume-building for someone interested in finance or Econ consulting

    Cons

the pay is low and it can get boring in the summer when you are working alone with a computer.

    Pros

Extremely dedicated employees who all believe in the Jesuit Mission and upper management who practice what they preach. For those who did not graduate from BC, you get envious of the sense of community. The school believes in professional development, the benefits are amazing and the vacation time is ridiculous.

    Cons

If you are lower down on the ladder, sometimes hard to get clear cut answers or logic behind decisions.
