Plenty of extra benefits, but things like personal development and competitive salaries are focused on consultants.

Business Analyst (Former Employee) Munich (Germany)

ProsNetworking and travel opportunities are high. Company is held in high regard and offices are beautiful in each city.

ConsChange is slow. Hard to find a voice and make a difference. Personal growth/salary are minimal within support staff.

Advice to Senior ManagementOften the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing...sometimes many different offices, or divisions, were working on very similar solutions and there was a lot of redundancy. Support staff needs to be supported just as much as the consulting side, as far as career development and competitive salaries. A lot of good talent is lost to a "get the cheapest person we can" mentality, versus improving promotion and training from within.

Great for consultants, terrible for admin staff

IT Staff (Current Employee) Munich (Germany)

ProsVast majority of reviews are from consulting staff not admin.

    - Pay is good
    - All the perks that the consultants get
    - International travel

ConsAdmin staff basically paid well but are 3rd world citizens. Except to be treated as such by consulting

    - IT Management are very chaotic
    - Flat structure; very little chance to grow
    - No real technical training
    - Expect to be on call with no recompense
    - Low budgets = weak resources = overworked people

After 3-4 years you have essentially learnt to work adhoc and not learnt anything about IT. Don't do it if you except a career in IT.

Advice to Senior ManagementYes the staff are desperately committed to making things work but its not a long term solution.
