“BCG”

Pros

Very smart people, tries to strike work-life balance, BCG brand gives a lot of credibility. Great fast-paced learning experience for recent graduates. A great platform for a career. Can be extremely rewarding if you find yourself on the right case, with the right team, with the right client.

Cons

As with all consulting firms, impact of what you do is limited to what clients do with your work. Prior real-world working experience appears to be less valued than it should be.

Advice to Senior Management

Adopt a more merit-based rather than time-based career progression system. Need to ensure that BCG doesn't only attract the best people but retains them as well.
