I have been working at Boston Market part-time

    Pros

The food is excellent. Always cooked to perfection. The management team always do a great job in making sure customers and employees receive the best treatment while either dining or working there.

    Cons

Employees don't get raises. Only management do. Sometimes customers can be difficult, but that's really anywhere in customer service. Employees have to work holidays like Christmas, Thanksgiving, and Easter, but on Christmas there is time and a half.

I worked at Boston Market part-time

    Pros

Snacking all day, coworkers were fun

    Cons

Lucky if you got a raise, no breaks due to how the schedule was set up. Each position had one person working at a time so taking a break was nearly impossible

    Advice to Management

Give raises that are more than $.15 if you're not gonna let them take breaks

I have been working at Boston Market part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I work as back-up which is physically demanding. Depending on whose the shift manager, the job environment is a more relaxed and less tense. There is a lot of flexibility with scheduling especially for myself being a college student. I like feeling apart of the team. The employee meals is another added perk too.

    Cons

    - all the shift managers don't really seem to be on the same page when it comes to efficiency on how things should be done "the right way" - the fast pace and multitasking can do a number on your joints since this position requires you to move, lift, carry, and serve. - position can be a little dangerous if not cautious. (Bunn water burns, btw)

    Advice to Management

    - management needs to focus on the servers and cashiers and utility performing cross job tasks. In short, employees need to know to stay in Thailand and do their jobs only. - clarity with demands needs to improve.

I worked at Boston Market part-time

    Pros

Form a friendly relationships with customers. Some would make your day by just stopping in. Discounts on food, free drinks, employees would keep the day interesting. Sometimes you would get a tip for good service. Training was OK.

    Cons

Too many cleaning responsibilities for one person at the end of the night; clean up should be shared. Managers don't like to help out too much. Taking a break is allowed but looked down upon. Getting burnt by hot pans. Managers do nothing about customers talking down to employees.

    Advice to Management

Try to bring a more positive enviornment. Happy Employees= Happy Customers.
