    Pros

Seems great on paper. Nice recruiters. Easy to get to on commuter rail.

    Cons

Management makes tons of money. Individual contributors don't. Morale is very low. People don't feel valued. President is nice person but has no idea how to help turn things around so people want to stay part of a lackluster team. Recent layoffs were hacked very poorly. HR is not mindful of their seeping actions.

    Advice to Management

Everyone got themselves is a way of life for some but not good for rebuilding aimping team. Invest in your people more. Have subordinates review mamma gets so everyone can get better. Hire a President with turnaround skills.

    Pros

Company mission is commendable and they do really care about the members they serve.

    Cons

Internal systems need lots of work. Process improvement and streamlining would help them move along in their growth.

    Advice to Management

Executive Team needs to get on the same page

    Pros

Rich benefits plan offered. Medical and dental insurance very reasonably priced. 401k offered. Earned time was generous. Ability to work from home.

    Cons

Overall, morale was not that great. Leadership had its favorites...and it was quite evident to most employees.

    Advice to Management

Get rid of your non-performers...your dead weight. Get rid of those manager who don't support their direct reports and can't perform their duties. Management should be receive reviews from their subordinates and other departments. You may be surprised what you learn from other depts. Please and thank you go a long way.

    Pros

Paid holidays, health insurance, tuition reimbursement, and location

    Cons

Lack of resources, not enough training given to new employees, managers are always in countless meetings daily, lack of communication between departments, lack in communication between vendors and the Plan, the company's culture is horrible, etc. there are so many things wrong with this place and it is a shame because there are so many talented people that work here. We work harder here not smarter. We create more work for ourselves and our technology is seriously in the dark ages.

    Advice to Management

We need to seriously look at the way we do business and how you treat employees. We feel undervalued and burned out. There is too much work and not help and proper resources to get the job done.

    Pros

Mostly autonomous work environment, work from home three days a week if you meet certain requirements, understanding if days off are needed

    Cons

Work from home requirements are overly burdensome-usually takes over a year to accomplish, management does not listen to any opinions or process improvement ideas from employees, travel required to home office in Boston on a regular basis, training is minimal, minimal needed resources provided to perform your job

    Advice to Management

Need to be open to process improvements, need to provide much more initial training and compile a list of available resources for case managers to utilize

    Pros

flexible schedule. good tuition reimbursement, possibility to work from home 3 days a week, casual dress

    Cons

no clearly defined roles in care management; job duties change at a moment's notice, poor morale, recent loss of Baystate/Baycare practices. very disorganized management. no bonuses or raises, poor communication, lack of collaboration

    Advice to Management

instead of asking care clinicians to respond to everyone's requests for help, support staff in holding all departments accountable for their part of the care continuum. clarify roles in care management process especially transitions in and out of facilities.no recognition of job well done. orientation to job is very poor, good job defined only by metrics not quality of case management

    Pros

The benefits are good. Earned time can be used for vacation or sick days. Dress code is casual. Easy commute. The work can feel rewarding when you hear from grateful members. Once you have been an employee for a year you can apply internally for other departments.

    Cons

Workload is uneven for different MSRs but pay is the same. Fixing others mistakes constantly can be frustrating. Pay does not feel equal to the amount of work good employees do. Bonuses and annual raises were suspended, this hurts for low pay grades. Building earned time is hard. Terrible communication between departments, lots of blaming. High turnover.

    Advice to Management

If MSRs felt like they were being compensated enough for work the turnover would be much higher.
