    Pros

Well paid internship. Excellent path into leadership development program. Engaging office culture. Hard work but great place to learn. Fun office perks including lunches, dinners, and team building events.

    Cons

Boston Scientific is a large multinational company with the typical faults of big business culture. There is favoritism and political maneuvering throughout the corporate ladder.

    Advice to Management

    Encourage entrepreneurial thinking.

I worked at Boston Scientific full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Constant consistent work. Good coworkers.

    Cons

While I was there there were several layoffs which I was a victim of to end my employment.

    Advice to Management

I would have tightened up the staff. They didn't need as many employees as they had.

I worked at Boston Scientific full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good company with a good mission.

    Cons

Awful, narrow minded senior management. Only care about cutting costs, don't care about employees or employee growth at all. Will erode vendor relations without blinking an eye as long as it saves money. Loyalty and quality means nothing to them.

    Advice to Management

    Fix the office culture.

  8. A good place to learn but limited growth opportunities

I worked at Boston Scientific full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Excellent opportunity to work with and investigate a broad spectrum of medical devices.

    Cons

If you're not part of management when you're hired, you likely won't be due to the lack of internal development. The turnover is huge and they tend to hire managers from other firms than reorganize departments.

    Advice to Management

Provide growth opportunities for people who have demonstrated leadership and improved the value of the serves rather than letting staff go to meet arbitrary benchmarks. Once enough staff has left, no one will be left to answer were the data is or what it means.

I have been working at Boston Scientific full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The people are very smart and great to work with. Everyone works hard and is focused on the company vision. Salary is OK but not great. Benefits are pretty standard. The new CEO is moving things in the right direction but sacrificing morale and culture to meet targets.

    Cons

Layoffs and acquisitions haven't helped the culture. Company culture remains an issue. Everyone is under resourced, working long hours, and getting burned out. There is no work life balance.

    Advice to Management

Stop cutting resources. Focus on sales growth.

I worked at Boston Scientific full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

The people. Lots of legacy people that were groomed and trained well. Although there has been high attrition

    Cons

Under paid, no path for success or growth, challenging industry

    Advice to Management

    Be more honest and transparent
