Pros – BSC was an enjoyable, professional and inspirational place to work. Beautiful campus, plenty of workable space, dedicated employees who enjoyed their jobs.

Cons – Meeting heavy, and lots of closed door corporate whisperings when times got tough. HR has issues, should probably change personnel there. Great executive leadership but lacking in marketing and sales leadership.

Advice to Senior Management – Pay attention to what the employees have to say about their managers and apply this to executive leadership goals.

Pros – Some employees love the job therefore the work performance and inter-office professionalism is apparent. Great medical benefits and educational growth package(s) for all employees that take advantage of it.

Cons – The responsibilities of management is overloaded and therefore delayed response time to employee concerns. Having a reliable and true sense of caring about the direct reports is lacking from management overall.

Advice to Senior Management – Please hire a few more people to distribute the management responsibilities effectively so that managers can have time to care about direct reports.

Pros – Moving within the company is relatively easy. Boston has always been commited to keeping their employees out our branch as much as possible (no layoffs). The benefits are very good. You feel like you have a purpose when you're working there.

Cons – Your career advancement is heavily dependent on your hiring manager (big surprise) so if your manager is poor, and want to move up, you may have extreme difficulty. Base compensation can be lower than competitors.

Advice to Senior Management – Thank you for communicating to us. I feel like we are kept in the loop. I hope that we can continue to make progress down the road.
