    Pros

    - Support for the entry level engineers.
    - Good and friendly environment to work

    Cons

    - Employer will pay less salary

    Advice to Management

Don't hire people as a contractor and then treat them as they don't belong to this company. You are the one's who hired us as an contractor (we applied for a full time position and you decided to hire us as a contractor)

    Pros

Working on products that help improve the life of people.
    Campus like work environment.
Location is an easy commute from Ventura County,SF Valley and Pasadena

    Cons

Everyone on the interview team seamed compartmentized. Limited communication between hourly and salary employees. Didn't see ANYONE smiling INSIDE the building. ONLY person I noted that was cheerful was the Security Guard at the main entrance!

    Advice to Management

Seems like there is a type of FEAR of mangement. An US vs THEM culture. Need to open up channels of communication between the two groups and improve the work flow. It seemed that there was a disconnect between what the interview team was looking for and what the leadership team off site was asking for.

    Pros

Some employees love the job therefore the work performance and inter-office professionalism is apparent. Great medical benefits and educational growth package(s) for all employees that take advantage of it.

    Cons

The responsibilities of management is overloaded and therefore delayed response time to employee concerns. Having a reliable and true sense of caring about the direct reports is lacking from management overall.

    Advice to Management

Please hire a few more people to distribute the management responsibilities effectively so that managers can have time to care about direct reports.
