ProsPay was good, management was good, coworkers were great

ConsCustomers are rude, I've Been in retail 12 years and I had never been treated so badly by customers until working at Biston Store. The customers are rude and treat the sales people like dirt.

Advice to Senior ManagementStick to store policies and have a back bone, the fact that customers now if they throw a fit over trying to return items without a receipt they will get money back, you have created spoiled gotten customers. Also, giving discounts to customers when ever they throw a tantrum is a problem as well

Company has no respect for workers

I worked at Boston Store full-time for more than a year

Prosgood co-workers for the most part. easy to get a day off for the most part if not during holiday times.

Consthere is NO training. upper management is CLUELESS. they invest no money into the company and expect that sales and morale with increase. workers are unhappy because the company cares more about how many credits you have opened rather than how you perform at your job. the company is always increasing their store hours and give less budget to staff the store. there is no room to grow in this company.

Advice to Senior ManagementIF YOU WANT YOUR COMPANY TO SUCCEED, CREATE A SENSE OF URGENCY FOR THE CUSTOMERS. STOP BEING OPEN FROM 7AM TO MIDNIGHT DURING BIG SALES AND INSTEAD CREATE A SENSE OF URGENCY FOR CUSTOMERS TO COME INTO THE STORE DURING NORMAL HOURS. the stores are open all night and it is a ghost town!! the company needs to let each store dictate their own hours since bigger towns will be busier than smaller. holding every single store in a region to the same standards is the reason this company is failing.

ProsGood products and good discount. Insurance was pretty good and inexpensive.

ConsAccountability is low, pay rarely ever increase once your hired (maybe 5-10 cents), high stress, inconsistent with most procedures, lack of training, overall morale of employees around you is low, serve understaffing with an increase of hours the store is open, customers over the last five years are getting progressively worse and worse (excessively rude, inconsiderate of how to treat other human beings), many members of management and staff are overworked and unappreciated, with hire anyone and are afraid to get rid of poor associates that continually make it harder for everyone else who cares about there job to succeed.
