    CM only in CA

Project Engineer (Former Employee) Los Angeles, CA

ProsBovis is a big company so you can transfer worldwide if there is an opening, however, you have to dig to find these opportunities.

ConsIn CA, Bovis only does construction management, which has dried up for them over the past 3 years. Sometimes when you get placed on a project, you are stuck there and can't move around to other projects if they like you. You can get pigeonholed into a position, and your career growth stops.

Not the same company it used to be

Project Manager II (Former Employee) Chicago, IL

    Pros- exposure to great projects...
    - great people

Cons- Too much overhead - the PM's in the field have to support a huge level of executive overhead, making market competitiveness difficult.
    - Too many talented people have left and went to other companies, all that are left are salesmen and business developers

Advice to Senior ManagementLook back to what made you great in the past. Look to what they are doing in the UK and AUS.
