Pros
Great people and demanding customers
Cons
Heads are in the sand
Pros
Strong name and brand recognition, freedom to develop solutions presented to customers, very strong sales support team
Cons
Some micromanagement of the sales force, products need updating to compete in a very competitive marketplace
Pros
Pay was good. Benefits decent.
Cons
There is a core group of senior management that somehow continues to exist even though the business results have been poor over the past several years. New products sucked up money and resources, yet there was very little market research and data that was used before these products were attempted to be brought to market. Employees remain nervous because of continued staffing cuts every year.
Advice to Senior Management
While there are some very good lower level employees, someone needs to objectively review the results that senior management has obtained over the past 5 years. How can you justify why there are so many VP's and Director level employees that continue to remain year after year. This is a very poorly run company and it starts at the top.
Pros
Freedom is better than most jobs
Cons
Long hours when needed per customer requirements.
Advice to Senior Management
More communication to employees on current issues and projected plans could be better.
Pros
Health care ( I have to enter at least 5 words )
Cons
There is a barrage of constant fire drills because of poor planning by project and upper management. Salaried employees are expected to work 60 plus hours a week. It's the "whatever it takes" attitude and the total disregard for peoples lives outside of work. This is a poorly run company that sucks it's talent dry and then casts it aside every first quarter so management can show they reduced operating costs and get their big fat bonuses, This management team has very poor people skills,
Advice to Senior Management
The internal communications are totally unacceptable. You have failed to hold yourselves accountable for the direction that this company has taken at the expense of hard working dedicated employees. Your smugness, condescending attitude, and martyrdom will be your undoing. You are hypocritical, because you are so concerned about the company bottom line, while you pad your pockets with bonuses that are taken from poor management decisions. How many of you have had your salaries reduced by 5% like the rest of us?
Pros
Great co-workers....great pay.....great benefits...great flexibility with people and their work/personal life balance. Good communication with all employees.
Cons
They need to spend more time cross training employees within departments. It would be so beneficial to BBH and the employees if this were done.
Advice to Senior Management
There needs to be less management. BBH is too top heavy and really needs to revamp their management levels so there aren't so many.
Pros
Its a decent place to work. The people are generally friendly and will try and help if needed. The health care plan is okay.
Cons
There is a always increasing work load with no salary or position compensation. Upper management seems to have cut all lines of communication with lower and mid level employees.
Advice to Senior Management
Listen to the employees who deal with the customer every day.
Pros
Great company to work for and everyone is very nice. Hard work pays off with room for advancement when openings come available.
Cons
Overworked, but who isn't now days. Economy slowed down business and cuts were made, salaries were cut back or days were reudced.
Advice to Senior Management
Continue investing in your people and products. When economy returns back to normal, hopefully salaries will be back to pre-recession pay.
Pros
No real pros except pay is fair overall. No raises in 2 years or 401k matching also days off without pay.
Cons
The company has no real direction. All senior management are friends from the north east. A joke use to go around that if you did not play golf with the group you were not moving up in the company. How very true this is. Hard to believe a leader in the field has lost so much. They use to have 2000 techs in the usa now under 600. A dieing industry for a dieing companym with no reaql future
Advice to Senior Management
You need to get a handle on the future of the company otherwise the company will be obsolete like so much of the antiquated equipment
Pros
Decent Salary Good Location Overtime available
Cons
Overworked Horrible Management Constant Layoffs
Advice to Senior Management
Communication is Key
Show appreciation
