I worked at Boys & Girls Clubs of San Francisco full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

They really care about the youth they are serving. The majority of the staff are fun to work with and care deeply for the youth.

    Cons

Leadership is top heavy and promotions are hard to come by. Severly understaffed so everyone is overworked with a high burnout rate.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Make room in the budget to adequately staff all clubhouses and admin to avoid burnout. Walk the talk about healthy lifestyles!
