    Managment

Safety Representative (Former Employee) Denver, CO

ProsVery large specialty construction company with a lot of opportunity through out the country. Organization is fairly simple. You will have all HR, Health, Vac, Pto etc. with this company on the management side

ConsTo many unknowns factors within this large company. Resources are there although hard to find. Little direction is passed from top management.

Advice to Senior ManagementMake it simple. get rid of the accounting fog. Reach out to your real team's in the field with real facts.

People are ok, management & pay not so much

    Painter Helper (Former Employee)

ProsThe people are good to work with, never a dull moment. I had a chance for OT every now and then. Good hours, get off for the holidays.

ConsNo room for advancement, they will teach you more I was a painter helper. And even though I was there for 3 years they never wanted to give raises. Guys would learn to spray & blast and wouldn't get anything to show for it. Getting money is like pulling teeth. No vacation, no sick days, they would say that there is no money for a raise but would turn around and give a manager a $3 raise.

Advice to Senior ManagementMake your employees feel more valued, give raises & do evaluations. Don't just tell your employees there is no money and if you don't like it leave. But turn around and give a manager a $3 raise.

    – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

Was a decent company to work for, even during the recession.

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee) Swedesboro, NJ

ProsOpportunity to learn new things, drive your down work schedule and goals, underlying business fundamentals are solid

Consarchaic IT systems, have to be very self motivated, very little support is given to the individual employee in terms of career growth, have to go after it yourself.

    Houston Accounting Office CLOSED

    (Current Employee) Houston, TX

ProsImmediate supervisors and staff were patient, good, hard working people that put in lots of time an energy trying to keep the finances in line.

ConsCorporate officers are completely ignorant of how the accounting department works. They just hired a bunch of staff. These were people who left good paying jobs with benefits to come to Brand for the opportunity for growth and advancement. Turns out this was all a lie. They needed warm bodies on a temporary basis. And now, before thier health insurance kicks in, they close the office. No way to COBRA, no Health Insurance, no severance and 2 days notice!

Advice to Senior ManagementTreat people with the respect they deserve.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
