Pros
The Employees. There is such an odd diversified group that works here and yet they are all doing great work. They complain less than other company employees and probably have more to complain about.
Cons
Low pay, few benefits and poor working conditions. Most of the time the owners who are of the Church of Latter Day Saints keep religion and work separate. However many of their business decisions appear naive and more church based than business based.
Advice to Senior Management
Quit stepping over dollars to pick up pennies. It is good for a business to be frugal, but cheap is cheap. Especially when it costs more to do things twice because enough wasn't spent the first time. Also spend more time planning. Rush decissions almost always get bad results.
Pros
Driving to and from different locations, 401k matching from emplyeer, can use vacation and sick time when you want, employees are friendly
Cons
Very difficult to achieve 30 hours per week for insurance, when business is slow Brashers will bring temps to work and this will leave the full time employee short hours for the week, will report for work and may be told to go home after 15 min or 1 hour, the company could call the full time employees and tell them that business is slow, there has not been a pay raise since I have worked there for 2.5 years
Advice to Senior Management
When business is slow, do not bring in temps but let the full time employees work thus allowing them to achieve at least 30 hrs per week for insurance
