Pros

For the most part the people who work there are the salt of the earth, obviously there are one or two who spoil it, but generally I have never worked with a more down to earth, funny, helpful, loyal bunch of people in my life. Over the years the management at the top has changed, not always for the better unfortunately - there'll never be another Mr T.

Cons

Even before the economy took a nosedive the job security was floundering. This was to be expected in the plant, but not so much in the office so it was demoralising when the office staff were being made redundant right, left and centre. In fact nothing was ever the same once Halliburton sold their stake to ShawCor.

Advice to Senior Management

Maybe if the parent company wasn't so money hungry there wouldn't be the need for people to lose their jobs.

They pay you on time. I guess. Some people are nice.

Incompetence, Nepotism.
Very unqualified middle management.
