    Pros

A great human resources department, lots of handy perks, discounted Tpass, discounted gum membership, etc.

    Cons

A lot of administrators who take weeks to do things. When you push them to have it done they do it them and there.

I have been working at Brigham and Women's Hospital part-time for more than a year

    Pros

Most departments are willing to train you on the way that they would like the work completed
The staff in the majority of the hospital is really friendly- You smile and they will smile back

    Cons

Very high expectations, only 2% raise per year (hospital-wide), some staff can really be rude, very large hierarchical structure- can be very intimidating , because doctors are mostly from Harvard, the majority have "conceited" attitude.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Human resources should do a better job of salary/ wage compensating their employees with what is normal in other hospitals for the same positions

I have been working at Brigham and Women's Hospital part-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

There's a lot of opportunity for job enrichment and upwards movement. My office is very casual and my manager is really good about approving time off, even if the request is made last minute.

    Cons

There's a lot of emphasis on having to put in a certain amount of hours, even if there isn't much work to do.
