    Pros

Great opportunity to work with people from all over the world. You were stretched - but you learned a lot. Management shared rewards with employees.

    Cons

Took on more than they could handle at times. Very fast paced, minimal work life balance. Not for everyone.

    Pros

Have systems in place to improve logistics operations.

    Cons

The leadership needs to be more flexible to new ideas and change

    Advice to Management

Take advice from the employees into consideration for time to time. The greatest innovations came from folks who were I. The saltmines

    Pros

It's monotonous for the most part, which can be a pro or a con. Pro because sometimes you want a part-time that you don't have to think about while you do personal work that you enjoy. It's also pretty easy work, but it's not the kind of thing anyone ever wants to do for years of their life.

    Cons

Temp hires mostly, so if you're looking for a long-term position, you've got to work very, very, very hard to get hired. Monotonous, which on the con side really means that you're brain will go nearly flat-line from the repetition. Co-workers can be challenging, but usually for every unpleasant employee there's one worth talking to.

    Advice to Management

Well, the company has since been taken over by Ingram-Micro, so I can't really say what it's like anymore. However, I did recently speak with an employee I knew from this job, and that person said that things are much worse under Ingram-Micro, and described the management as "impersonal" and "cheap." Take that as you will.

    Pros

The fast paced environment is ideal for a motivated individual. The compensation is competitive with the industry average.

    Cons

Work life balance in the reverse logistics part for hourly associates needs to improve. 90% of the time employees are required to work weekends.

    Advice to Management

Need to focus on the longevity of the employees. Satisfied employees, especially middle management=Low turnover=Less new hire costs.

    Pros

Always projects going on, and if you are motivated and willing to learn, you can quickly become a subject matter expert on the next new big thing. If you get on several of these projects, your reputation grows and work becomes more rewarding. Pride in your workplace, community involvement, quality, money-making company.

    Cons

Biggest customers can be prone to pushing Brightpoint around a bit. Brightpoint says "yes" a lot of times to these requests.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you're doing. I appreciated mgmt at every level, thought they were truly listening to the teams/individuals who were trying to make improvements, make money, keep our customers and vendors happy, etc.

    Pros

While I was working there the management seemed to want to help the employees grow in their duties but the reality was that the company grew faster than could be managed. the pay scale was fairly just and based on experience and time with the company.

    Cons

Really angry and sad employees. this fact caused the working environment to be almost explosive. the lack of flexibility is pretty significant as well.

    Advice to Management

To be able to grow the employees need some flexibility in terms of schedule etc...
