Pros
job stability, working outbound you get to have the weekends off and you don't go home too late at night
Cons
the training program could be a little longer there are times that it seems rushed
Advice to Senior Management
continue to look for shining eyes, people who are interested and eager to develop (themselves) if needed and provide them with the incentives to continue their development
Pros
Brink's Home Security allows employees who put forth effort to grow in their knowledge and careers. The management is willing to listen to their employees and often asks for additional ways to improve the company. The company is based upon a sense of integrity and taking care of their customers and has been steadily successful with that approach.
Cons
Brink's Home Security compensation is not in its pay. If a prospective employee is focused more on immediate income than the opportunity to gain new skills and experience, then they should look elsewhere.
Advice to Senior Management
Continue what you are doing. Because of the focus on improving the skills and experience of your employees instead of hiring the most expensive employees you can, the company is creating loyal employees for reasonable periods of time. (3-5 years). The culture will keep some of those employees for longer while allowing other employees to respectfully leave in search of more financial compensation, but with Brink's as a happy memory on which they would return.
