Pros
happy people to work for
Cons
too much work for my schedule
Pros
IT jobs at Brinks Home Security are good. Management empowers employees to be inovative
Cons
It has been purchased by ADT security so we are all concerned about potential changes.
Advice to Senior Management
Slow down the pace
Pros
There is a great deal of flexibility which allows you to run your business how you see fit. The interview process and training are comprehensive which makes it easy to adapt quickly in the field.
Cons
The compensation plan is terrible in comparison the level of activity required to generate a sale.
Advice to Senior Management
Revise the compensation plan so encourages consultants to work harder.
Pros
alright salary
great supervisors
always gives us info about how e are doing as a company
Cons
time off is hard when its busy
repetitive calls get old
seems hard to move up
Advice to Senior Management
hire more people so time off is not so hard to do
Pros
Great atmosphere to work in, not cut throat, good product and good management. Plenty of movement and ways to advance into upper management.
Cons
Boring, they do not provide you with a company vehicle, the paid time off is limited and the reason for a good 401k is the salary isn't comparible to other companies. The bonus is low, and the pressure to upsell is high.
Advice to Senior Management
I advise management to put less pressure on the upsell, better compensation especially to those who are using their personal vehicles.
Pros
The people! And I include management. I have only been with the company a few months, but I've worked at plenty of places that were run horribly, and some that did a mediocre job. But I've never worked anywhere like this before. The people here are all so happy! And management actually seems to get the whole concept of work/life balance. I'm just still in shock that a company like this exists.
Cons
The best I can come up with as far as a downside is that sometimes the internal processes get a tiny bit convoluted and result in duplication of effort, or in making a project a bit more difficult than it needs to be. But it's really nothing compared to every other company I've ever worked for. And considering how large the company is, it's actually miraculous that this isn't more of a problem.
Advice to Senior Management
Please keep doing what you're doing! Don't change anything. I want to stay here forever!
Pros
Great company with an awesome reputation for service. Great benefits to employees.
Cons
Hard to make a decent living working at Brinks. Compensation is inadequate and low compared to similar sales positions. Not enough qualified leads.
Advice to Senior Management
To reverse the current high turnover of sales people you should take a hard look at the compensation offered to your sales consultants. I have been here for almost 3 years and still don't even make 30K and I am one of the top sales consultants in my branch. That is sad!
Pros
Treat their employees very well.
Cons
I have no cons to list.
Advice to Senior Management
None.
Pros
Good people manager level and down
Nice place to work
It feels like home
Cons
Senior management is out for themselves
Limited advancement opportunities
Advice to Senior Management
You guys know what the right thing to do is...just get to doing it.
Pros
Nice and Quiet company
Medium size office with not much complications
Decent Benefits Package
Cons
Not much Job growth if you are planning long term
No Bonus or Hikes
Advice to Senior Management
Don't Micro Manage
Plan some Bonus and Hikes according to the Performance
