I worked with professional and hardworking committed people who cared about the customer and sales.

Catering Manager (Former Employee) Newport Beach, CA

ProsFriendship and being supportive between one another - great benefits were awesome! And I love and still do love, working with many cultural backgrounds which ultimately give me more insight as to how people think, cook and live. It was a great place to work!

ConsUpper management would demote due to cutbacks. However, their values were consistent regarding the employee.

Advice to Senior ManagementDon't take away pay/benefits from people who have striven to prove themselves to you. That just isn't right!

    My co-workers became my family

Department Manager (Former Employee) Westwood, CA

ProsThe environment is friendly and great. Most employees are easy going and fun. Mostly the ones that have been in a company for a while and really enjoy their job. There are some youngsters that don't care about the job so that can be a bit stressful. Now that has become a private company again, benefits are getting better but they are not as god as couple of years ago.

ConsThere is a lot favoritism. In order to save money, they have been hiring people from outside the company instead of promoting people from within. There a lot of people that have invested their time in the company and there are just taken for granted.

Advice to Senior ManagementPromote the people that are really committed to the company and have invested a lot of time in it.

Not a bad job for going to school, bad as a career choice.

Front End Shift Supervisor (Former Employee) Long Beach, CA

ProsGreat opportunity to advance your skills in a customer service career.
Great regular clientele if your up for a challenge in working with persnickety yet decent people.
For the most part, great coworkers that are fun to be around and work with.

ConsLow raises unless you get promoted to a higher position.
Really high maintenance clientele. Some of them are nice. Most are not.
Most workers are not full time to avoid paying benefits.

To much behind the scenes politics

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

Proshigher clientelle nice uniforms knowledgable staff lower manager better than head manager fresh food but overpriced some mean customers too long on feet

Constoo long on feet- need more time to relax needs more employees should be able to stop and rest while cameras are watching

Advice to Senior Managementclue in to who would be a good manager-treat everyone nice unless they steal or are mean to customers. Give $20 (not spendable at store) for a job well done.
