    Pros

Strong pipeline. Exciting portfolio. Good pay.

    Cons

Managers are horrible. No basic respect.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I do not see managers's efforts to motivate people to do good work. They are so exciting to catch you did something wrong. And never hesitate discouraging you from doing good work.

Current Employee - District Sales Manager

I have been working at Bristol-Myers Squibb

    Pros

Pay is decent, especially in the specialty divisions. R&D plus acquisitions seem to promise good growth potential which would hopefully lead to some job security.

    Cons

Almost impossible to work here unless you can disconnect your brain and take direction from central command and control. Worse yet, most of the people giving the commands rotate through their jobs every 1-2 years but still think they know all the answers. Another main issue is functional silos based on a particular task rather than broader base functions based on a division/business unit based knowledge set.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Trust your employees more. Slow down the churn of the "super stars" through management positions.
