    Pros

Pays well and support staffs are great to work with.

    Cons

Inconsistency in rules, rolls, training, and responsibilities.

    Advice to Management

Develop a more robust and consistent training program. Develop a team oriented approach to problem solving and trouble shooting issues. It may take longer but will insure that the problems are corrected the first time and do not result in causing other problems.

    Pros

Great schedule, awesome work/life balance, occassional work from home days, decent pay for a contractual employee

    Cons

They outsource so many employees. I am a contractor--I work efficiently, I work effectively, I have had multiple full-time employees go to bat for me to get a permanent job and to no avail--it is all about the head count. Very political, too many layers.

    Advice to Management

Give permanent jobs to those that deserve it. I would have given the next 20-30 years of my life to have a career here, but the politics didn't allow it. I do not feel valued as an employee at all.

    Pros

Flexible work options, exciting Oncology portfolio, some fabulous co-workers who are incredibly dedicated and committed to bringing new medicines to patients, despite multiple internal barriers and hurdles.

    Cons

Portfolio beyond Immuno-Oncology is questionable. Significant changes in senior leadership over the past 12-18 months has lead to a significant "'brain drain" at the highest level. Big focus on doing "more with less" has led to significant burn out and attrition.

    Pros

Good Benefits like 401K (match 6%), Health insurance and free YMCA. People in the floor are friendly. I can't say something else.

    Cons

Management does not care about employees, they are only protecting each other. Human Resources only protects high management and any situation with a supervisor they just prefer to fired you. This is the type a management that are in huge offices with expensive furniture. They think they are gods and you have to praise them. People are just afraid to face the management because they know they are protected by human resources. Because this company is in the middle of no where, working in this company for people living around, is like working in heaven cause the other election is Walmart. Management says; if you don't like it just go to Walmart. If you have born and raised in this city and don't want to move, this is a good option. If you are coming from a better city, think about it because it can be like working in hell. If you want to be promoted make sure you play golf with the Sr management or just do whatever activity you manager does. Don't expect to see good engineering or quality methodologies, this plant is 20 years behind technology.

    Advice to Management

Just resign a let good people in.

    Pros

good benefits, work-life balance is respected at rep level, fairly compensated, company car, working with educated professionals who helped each other be successful

    Cons

Too many 7:30am conference calls.....kids need to be driven to school. Too much change in upper management on a regular basis, however that is true with most biologics.

    Advice to Management

Reduce 2 POA's to one and implement Regional Mtgs instead

    Pros

    Clean and safe work environment
Dedicated/hardworking employees for the most part
    Challenging/interesting work

    Cons

Zero work/life balance in some areas
HR support grossly lacking... months to back fill open positions
Few standard work processes in key areas leading to employee fiefdoms
Over-relinace on Email and IM, grossly overused (100-150 emails per day, steady stream of IMs)
Key business processes capable, but not in control, resulting in ongoing stream of "emergencies" and fire-fighting

    Advice to Management

Double-secret probation is not a developmental tool nor does it enhance morale
Don't espouse "Open and Transparent" if you don't mean it
Promoting from with-in will not lead to the improvements needed to key processes (not invented here mentality permeates every inch of this facility).
Senior employees can/do undermine change. Some are way too close to the senior managers and have way too much influence.
Chain of command is not enforced/followed due to previous bullet point.
