Pros
-Great culture, treats people well. Young managers are given opportunity to grow and lead. Fantastic planning process. Highly structured. People work together as a team. Expectations and KPI are spelled out clearly way before the new financial year comes. Coaching culture at all level. Process driven. Strategy is clear and most of the time they work. Great place to learn for fresh graduates. Good compensation and benefits. Politics is minimal.
Cons
- too process driven and managers are bogged down by processes, systems and endless presentation
- Marketers are not exposed to ATL and other marketing touchpoints that are in trend and relevant to the market.
- Highly paid and hard to look for jobs
- Work-life balance is compromised sometimes
- It is tobacco industry, challenging and industry landscape can change drastically overnight due to government's initiative to curb smoking.
- Industry is highly restricted. Needs lots of creative brain juice to find ways reaching out to consumers.
