    Pros

Technical team, smart and mostly friendly colleagues, OK job if don't mind working hard, worth ESPP and RSUs.

    Cons

Under-staffed, lack communication and poor documentation, assignment and interest don't match most of time, no space for advancement technically or in rank, lower than market salary.

    Advice to Management

use resources more effectively by improving them, train engineers and managers and then value them. sharing resources better across groups when shift happens instead of give them away to competition.

    Pros

work-life balance, personal growth, flexible work timings

    Cons

growth is something u need to go out & seek since work can get stagnant at times & u end up doing the same thing again & again

    Advice to Management

There should be 2 way feedback mechanism where employees are able to provide feedback on the performance of leads & managers. Sometimes leads get by without doing much work.

  9. Contracting with Broadcom

    I worked at Broadcom

    Pros

It seems like a great place to work, but, as a contractor (for a short span), I have met some "happy" campers and also "non-happy" campers.

    Cons

As a contractor, I felt as if I was not a part of the team. I never really had a chance to grasp, or belong to the culture of what Broadcom that I have heard of. I suppose it's because I was just a "contractor". :(
