Great first job out of college

Administrative (Former Employee) Jersey City, NJ

Prosexposure to technical side of financial softwares such as Impact and Finance Pro, good benefits, create great contacts with clients over time

Conspoorly managed, training is available if you train yourself, office politics ruin the atmosphere, people who deserve promotions don't get the recognition they deserve.

Advice to Senior Managementput in a bit more of an effort on training new employees instead of water cooler gossip

Great If You Can Actually Get Hired By Them

    NONE (Current Employee) Edgewood, NY

ProsFor actual permanent employees the benefits are great as is the work-life balance.

ConsThey are far too complacent about using temp help. They keep you on as a long term temp for years and years meaning you get none of the perks of being an actual Broadridge employee but do all the same work. In my department 1/3 of the people are temps, several of which have been here for more than a year.

Advice to Senior ManagementSix months should be more than enough time to evaluate someone's performance and whether or not you need the actual headcount in your department. It's frustrating to people to spend so long in a job and not feel valued and most of us are still looking for full-time permanent work outside your company.

Great Company to work for aside from the job favortism.

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee) Brentwood, NY

ProsGreat benefits package and strong diverse culture.

ConsFavoritism in the company, it’s not about how much you know it’s about who you know.
Managers cover up for their employees. More work is given without compensation.

Advice to Senior ManagementListen to your employers. Do not go by what you just see for a minute. Pick out the real workers from the slacker and this company can improve beyond. Too many chief and not enought indians.
