Senior Director (Current Employee) Edgewood, NY

    ProsWork with good people
    Good pay
    Innovative work

    ConsTerritorial Managers
    Highly political
    High Burn-out environment
Sr Management breeds a "feeding frenzy" environment

Advice to Senior ManagementCheck into where"great places to work" is actually a goal vs a check box that isn't real.

Overall a good company to work for

Good to begin your career. Work for 2 yr and then leave ASAP!

Member Technical (Current Employee) Hyderābād (India)

Pros1. Initial learning opportunities are good.
    2. Early on site travel (short term).
    3. Leads and Mangers are good, but can't say the same about the people above them.
    4. Very less work pressure. You can chill, study, develop yourself as much as possible.

Cons1. Poor growth, both in terms of money and career.
    2. Everything is in the hands of higher management and HR. Managers and leads don't have any power.
    3. Nothing comes without asking or threatening to leave.
    4. 3 months notice period. 6-12 months bond for a travel of merely 2 months. Retention policies are extremely strong which makes switching difficult.
    5. Package includes 12.5% of variable bonus, sodexos, gratuity and other stuff, be careful with what they are offering you. Initial in hand will be less than INFY/TCS.
    6. No parties/outing/fun activities. Although they have a campus but its just green and open unlike other IT offices.

Advice to Senior Management1. Realize the potential of your associates before they leave to work for an US top 10 investment bank.
    2. Bonds and various retention strategies make people loose trust in their senior management. It does not give a feeling of achievement, it makes us feel insignificant and labor like.
    3. HR attitude should be more docile and pleasant towards the associates.
    4. Please consider incentives like free food, cab, allowances etc for retaining the associates, make them happy by giving them without any condition/bond/agreement, I am sure it will foster enormous trust and love.

    Great company!

Project Leader (Current Employee) Hyderābād (India)

    ProsGood leadership
Very good innovative forums for all associates
People think about career path and have tools for it
    Challenging work
So much to learn unlike other companies

ConsNothing as such, overall a great company and I will recommend anyone who is willing to make a career to come here

    Advice to Senior ManagementVisionary leadership
The senior leaders are very good, this is why the company is doing good
HR is very approachable and helpful. In my previous company I didnt know who HR was, but here know everyone by name and they do a great job

    Relaxed and tension free life.

Member Technical (Former Employee) Hyderābād (India)

ProsIf you are nearing retirement this is the perfect company. Less work pressure particularly in development and on-site opportunities (if you threaten to leave the organization). Need not be too brilliant in your technical skills. If finance is your interest then probably you'll neither learn finance in detail nor have any competitive technical skills. But surely be jack of all trades but again be master of none.

ConsA pure financial company with focus only on business. Products are already developed (back in 1990's). Only maintenance work left. Need not be technologically savvy. Also technology is also of 90's era.

Advice to Senior ManagementNeed for good and challenging work does not mean on-site trip to UK or US.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend

    Good benefits

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsGood company to work for with different divisions and locations so there is room for growth. Good benefits and pay seemed to be comparable to similar companies in the industry.

ConsOutsource a lot of programming work to India. Sometimes management doesn't seem to think through the entire big picture resulting in the worker-bees scurrying to keep up with changing objectives.

Advice to Senior ManagementKeep jobs in the USA !!!!

Great Company to work for aside from the job favortism.

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee) Brentwood, NY

ProsGreat benefits package and strong diverse culture.

ConsFavoritism in the company, it’s not about how much you know it’s about who you know.
Managers cover up for their employees. More work is given without compensation.

Advice to Senior ManagementListen to your employers. Do not go by what you just see for a minute. Pick out the real workers from the slacker and this company can improve beyond. Too many chief and not enought indians.

    Chaotic...many conflicting priorities

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsDiverse product mix for financial services industry

ConsTeams are very click ish and very closed to new employees. Onboarding is an absolute disaster. If you are not on the inner circle of your team you will not survive the constant shift in priorities.

Advice to Senior ManagementNeed to focus on real and value added employee communications and assess how many different silo's the business currently has. Very US focused.

Decent company to start your career.

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsLots of time for personal growth.
Company is really great for people with less technical skills.
If you want to grow in financial domain this is a great choice, lots of big clients and lot of knowledge will be gained in terms of financial knowledge.

ConsManagement doesn't really care about the employee growth, no one on one meets, not many employee growth plans are here.
Salary is low and even hikes are not so good.
Bonus are the part of your overall package and it is said variable bonus based on performance but its not really the case.
Work environment depends on the team and your manager, overall the work environment is not so great.

Advice to Senior ManagementImprove the work environment.
Frequent interaction of managers and to their team mates are essentially and they are missing in this company, which should be conducted and should be happening at the regular basis.
    Salary hike should be improved.
