Senior Management rewards themselves at expense of worker bee
Same old strategies will not grow the company - definition of insanity...do the same thing over and over
Old school thinking - many leaders have old school thinking and styles
Overworked and underpaid
Advice to Senior Management
Go spend a few days entrenched in each of the businesses and get a true understanding of what goes on day to day - might be an eye opener for you...
Pros
The company of Broadridge has good and honest people to work with. Every associate I have ever dealt with has always been a hassle free experience
Cons
The company of Broadridge has too many life long employees which makes it very diffucult to grow into a senior position.
Pros
This company does not have a cut throat mentality and this makes it easier to mingle and work with the associates in the company.
Cons
The company is very tight with their finances. Workers are not compensated financially or other ways for their long long hours. Weekend hours are mandatory and expected during busy season. Consulting and Full Time employee salaries are extremely low. Departments are not sensitive to employee requests.
Advice to Senior Management
Take management courses
Pros
Work/life balance
Some really good people to work with
Cons
Poor pay
Disrespect from management
No clear long term direction
Pros
Really good Job security in the right department. company is growing
Cons
Lots of work, weekends, and late night
Advice to Senior Management
Stop Hiring friends and ex-coworkers who does not know anything and pay him a lot more than your best worker or lead. Then have the guts to ask your lead to train the new guy.
Pros
Salary
Cafeteria
Job Title
Experience with new project
Cons
office was in terrible location on train tracks, management did not care about employee safety frequently requiring late nights
Advice to Senior Management
Recognize that employees have lives outside of work.
Pros
There are alot of really great people who are willing to share their knowledge.
Cons
Management does not care about the people. Employees are requried to take a 'Speed of Trust" and then their managers lie to them and treat them like dirt, and wonder why people aren't happy.
Duh. If you displease the SVP for some reason known only to him..your chances of advancement are nil. The things I see happen seem to be contrary to company growth, but its obvious upper management is condoning what is going on since nothing is being done. HR is useless. l. I hope that Rich Daly would faint if he know what is going on. And if he does know..shame on him.
Advice to Senior Management
Take a hard look at your management. Clean house
Pros
Salary and bonus were good.
Most of the non management people are good to work with. It's sort of like a shared hell.
Cons
Hours are unbelievable. You will never have a job where you will work more.
IT is a two class system. The haves and have nots. The haves do little and get the benefits from the efforts of the have nots.
Bottom line is don't work there.
Advice to Senior Management
There needs to be a major overhaul of the management staff.
Pros
Broadridge supplies a good work/life balance. Hard to give "Broadridge" all the credit however, since it's really my direct manager that promotes this...
Competative salary.
Cons
Broadridge has a sub-par benefits package compared to previous employers I've worked for. There are a lot more out-of-pocket expenses.
Advice to Senior Management
I haven't been here long enough...
