Consopportunity for growth, financial compensation, location

Advice to Senior ManagementInvest in technology - do not sell products before the are designed. Streamline existing products to make it more profitable. Promote/develop the right people, don't just recruit externally.

Importance to people who speak than work

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)
    Hyderābād (India)

ProsStrong product base in financial services domain and hence strong financial position for at least next 3 years.

ConsInefficiency and politics at its best.. Heavy work load on people who actually want to work , and the lion share of any benefits goes into the pockets of senior managers and their favourites.
Feel less of freedom being a developer as there are lot of restrictions.

Advice to Senior ManagementBe good and do good. Change the bossy and bullying attitude and of course HR (always busy - dont have time to attend our calls consistently) should understand that they are to help the associates and not to rule/command the associates.

Work is fun, but the people have no soul!

    Operations Associate (Former Employee)
    Jersey City, NJ

ProsThe company is good if you would like to do a mundane task over and over for the next 20 years (although my department was more dynamic). It has good and stable benefits and if you fit inside the culture, they will treat you like one of their own.

ConsIt's very much like high school -- the captain of the football team dates the head cheerleader; people go to lunch together, and don't you even dare sit at their table; and the principal has his favorite students. Most people were hired when the market was booming, so the company didn't have much time to really evaluate them and be selective. So if you are a sophisticated college grad you will with with others who have no degree and will cast you out as if you're a snob.

Advice to Senior ManagementTake care of your employees, simply put.

Great Company, Great people, potential for growth, lots of hours.

    Manager (Current Employee)
    New York, NY

ProsPeople care, Great company to work and they always try to do the right thing. Strong Financial with continual growth and opportunities individuals can seek out.

ConsLong hours- Have held multiple positions and all require much more than the typical 9-6.

Advice to Senior ManagementFew more resources would not hurt, but keep doing what you are doing- very strong and stable company!

    Growing Company

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsThis company believes in the service profit chain where its foundation in built upon the associates. I believe they want to developer better leadership and employee satisfaction. They take the survey results like the Great Places To Work very seriously and try to align their goals for growth and opportunities for employees, while maintaining a balance of profitability for a public company with shareholders.

ConsBeing in the financial industry and not IT, the company depends on technology to build its products and service its clients, however the technology appears to be behind other IT companies. It could spend more on R&D and innovation for long-term growth.

    Poor Management/ Nepotism

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsGood Benefits. They have a niche market so will be around for a while.

ConsVery much a "who knows who" company. If you aren't in the golden circle, forget advancement and watch your back. Unhealthy competition is promoted amongst employees. Creativity and loyalty are not rewarded. It's the "YES" people who are sent up the ladder.

Advice to Senior ManagementGet rid of some of the "old boys club" management. Recognize the toxic environment that has been developed through "every person for themselves" atmosphere.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
