    Pros

You are allowed to work from home. Lots of visibility with VP level. Some managers are great. Lots of free online training. NYC location is ideal. Senior management is a good group of professionals.

    Cons

No room to grow. Benefits could definitely be better. Pay is not what other businesses pay. They have networking programs that seem to be defunct. But don't wait around for someone else to do this. You own your own career so take the pros and run with it. Definitely too many men at the most senior level. Waiting for a woman to break that glass ceiling.

    Advice to Management

Seek out what your employee is good at and let them do that. Make room to grow. Revamp the networking programs. Better benefits!

I have been working at Broadridge full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Small office, great facetime with upper level management, good entry-level base-pay

    Cons

Benefits could be better, vacation time is terrible, bonuses are lagging behind similar companies

    Advice to Management

    Review vacation policy

    Pros

Job security is the only Advantage here.

    Cons

It has been transformed completely into Manager Driven. If an associate is liked by Senior Mgmt he will be given all opportunities and others are given pennies. Favourism is quite a common thing here. Work load is never balanced, Managers/VP's push the work and allocate multiple projects.

    Pros

    Good flexibility and work/life balance

    Cons

Very political - no opportunities for growth, unless you know someone. There is no direction, no communication, long hours. Office location is very depressing

    Advice to Management

Start recognizing employees for their contribution, not by who they know.

I have been working at Broadridge full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

For first couple of years you may get a feeling that you are working for a product based company, let me tell you, you don't feel so for long.

    Cons

You be a pet to your manager or you better be out of the company. Very limited onsite opportunities. It may be a product based company in U.S. but Hyderabad office is no way different to other service companies. You don't get paid better and on the other side you will have no long term onsite opportunities. Loss-loss situation for the employee. Age old policies. And the worst of all, visitors get a parking space in the facility but not employees. They get fined by traffic police for parking outside the campus. Irresponsible, arrogant HRs with no respect for employees or candidates appearing for interviews.

    Advice to Management

Go out and see how the world is changing. It's time you change age-old policies in Hyderabad facility.

    Pros

    Central location on Long Island

    Cons

Everyone constantly boasts about the wonderful Broadridge culture. At first you are drawn into the alluring claims that are made and a couple of months in you start to see the cracks. Over time you realize that the culture is an easy mantra everyone sticks to but it's not backed by anything of substance. If you are looking for a challenge this is definitely the place, however by challenge I don't mean a character building experience, rather more like being thrown in the lion's den. You are left to identify information that doesn't exist and people who are tenured (10+ years) quizzically respond with laughter about the impossible nature of answering your request. You start here with great ambitions and drive to find yourself within a couple of months leaving each day empty knowing you can't change a place that isn't willing to change.

    Advice to Management

Pay for the skillset you are looking for rather than hiring people who don't possess the necessary experience required. If you keep paying your associates less than the standard for the needs of the role you will continue to falter in achieving company goals.
