I have been working at Brookdale University Hospital full-time

    Pros

Nice managers and co-workers. Benefits are alright. Salary isn't too bad.

    Cons

Nurses could be nicer to patients but I've seen worse at the so called best hospitals.

    Advice to Management

Be nice to workers so that they will stay and not run off to manhattan to work.

    Pros

Provide help for community and good relationship with patients. Co worker was very nice to help me as needed and always worl as a team. It was a nice atmosphere to work at Brookdale. I realy miss my job and abelieve it was unfare to let me go after 17 years serving this hospital and was one of the best enployee.

    Cons

Administration was neve appreciate what you was doing the new employee was getting high position when the did not have any expirience and did not know what they was doing. thats was making hospital desorgonized.

    Advice to Management

I would like the HR and Administration to hire ans fare people with a respect an dignity regardles do they have relationship or family memeber. It should be based on person expirience and superwise other people

    Pros

Small business feel. Cafeteria is adequate.

    Cons

Highly segregated management structure. Caste system.

    Advice to Management

Your employees are complaining to HR daily about malicious behavior and documented lies being told by management. Should be a priority to sort this out unless Brookdale is truly just a short term cash cow.
