    Pros

Decent pay and some stability. Some predictability in schedule and number of classes assigned. No micromanaging.

    Cons

Zero support in evenings. About 3/4 of the students have no business in college and will not be able to get a job in their field.

    Advice to Management

Stop accepting crappy students and kick out the ones who don't do what they are supposed to do (show up and complete homework).

By Far The Worst Position Of My Life.......
I was lured in by a recruiter to this job, I never applied for it. Either way.... I interview and management tells you this is not a sales position, more a counseling position where you help potential students with their future education. Shortly after training, (One week) you hit the phones. You are expected to make a minimum of 150 cold calls a day. And when I say cold, I mean ICE COLD. You are given a list/database with thousands of potential students (leads). Some of these leads are years old. You would have better luck grabbing a phone book and calling random people. At least these people would not have been called 30 times previously by your co-workers. Literally 99% of people you call either hang up on you immediately or tell you something far worse and then hang up. Even though they stress this is not s sales job, it could not be more of a sales job. They have unrealistic quotas that NO ONE hits. No help, I had one "coaching" meeting in three months. The company has a new Director of Admission every three months. If you looking for a revolving door atmosphere with no support then Brookline College might be for you. Furthermore, you are trying to selling a $61,800 (bachelors degree) or a $31,800 (associates degree) to people that cannot finance a hot dog. All being run by an egotistical moron in their President. If it is between Brookline College or spinning a sign that says "We Buy Gold", I would take a hard look at the sign spinning gig.

    Advice to Management

Stop giving false information to potential anew employees. This is a sales job and the sooner you start realizing this, the sooner you can start hiring the right kind of people. Mainly hardcore, cut throat, salesman with no soul. You are selling BS degrees that would not be respected for a manager position at Walmart, all while charging 10 times that of a community college. You are putting people barely managing to stay alive into a lifetime debt that they will never get out of. Thank you for wasting three months of life. I guess its better then the years of time you waste with your students.

    Pros

Some supervisors are very helpful and friendly.

    Cons

Growing in this company used to be a possibility. However, now they treat their employees terrible and stress numbers everyday. They promise things that never come true.

    Advice to Management

Learn what the company needs and what they don't. There needs to be structure with the enrollment process because you have took away an admission analyst and admission coordinator. You can't expect admission reps to be successful when they have to do reports and enrollments.

I have been working at Brookline College

    Pros

Your not restricted to a specific lunch and break schedule. Some and instructors and directors do really care about the students.

    Cons

For the allied Heath programs the quality of the students could be improved apon. The company itself is cheap, especially on their supplies. They took away the 401k employer contribution and the new healthcare plans aren't the best.

    Advice to Management

If you treat your employees better they will perform better.
