Pros
The benefits are some of the best that i have seen in the area. I also have the joy of only needing to work 14 days a month.
Cons
You have to work 12hr shifts to only work 14 days. On press side, you have to work a month of days then a month of nights. The swing in shift can be hard on people.
Advice to Senior Management
Don't forget, without the little guys, you have nothing.
Pros
Financial stability
Skilled employees
Among the best supplier in the industry
Cons
Very difficult and competitive industry.
Pros
Steady pay, ok benefits, regular hours
Cons
Incompetent management, at all levels.
Advice to Senior Management
Managment should take some responsibility for some poor decisions made, in the so called transformation.
Pros
Pay, good at working with you if you have outside issues
Cons
Long hours, inconsistent work, management constantly changing. Every year they are restructuring. A lot of wasted money in useless projects. No Raises/bonuses for 2010. Management too worried about protecting their own jobs so they fail to communicate/share information. They also don't take any responsibility for mistakes.
Advice to Senior Management
Regressing back 20 yrs in management techniques is not going to help an industry that is hurting. General labor is just as worried about their jobs as you are.
