    Pros

WE get free bagels, and sometimes we get free cream cheese too.

    Cons

Sometimes it hurts when you accidentally cut yourself when trying to cut a bagel.

    Advice to Management

Focus more on teaching cutting technique

    Pros

Great food, nice customers and co-workers. I also like that they're pretty flexible with scheduling hours.

    Cons

There aren't really any cons I can think of.

    Pros

Fun job that pays decently. You get to meet a lot of really great people that come in often so you can get to know them. Not like fast food!

    Cons

Early morning hours may be hard for some people. There doesn't appear to be much room for advancement, you have to wait until someone quits or gets fired to compete for the job.

    Advice to Management

When employees express some interest in management positions, talk to them and see if they might be qualified or are worth developing.

    Pros

Easy restaurant management job, no late nights, no waitstaff or kitchenstaff, great corporate training, 2 paid holidays for managers

    Cons

EARLY mornings, no paid time off for one year, family insurance really expensive

    Advice to Management

Give 3 weeks paid vacation in this industry from the start

    Pros

    Good place to work
    Decent benefit package
    Good guest following
    Guest focused operations
    Refreshing new executive leadership
    Willingness to grow

    Cons

Bruegger’s has a great story of how their bagels are made. Unfortunately, no one knows because the company does not share it.

    Advice to Management

The Bruegger's story should be part of their everyday operations. Remodel each location in each existing market. Doing both with strengthened the brand.

    Pros

Great place to work. A lot of great staff members and the manager was such a nice guy!

    Cons

The hours are a bit strange, as most stores open around 6am and close around 7pm.

    Advice to Management

Nothing, it was a great place to work! I think you would get more business if you stayed open an hour or two later.

    Pros

Bruegger's offers a very flexible schedule and is willing to aid its employees when they begin to struggle.

    Cons

It is a fast-paced environment and the work, as a baker, is not worth the payment.

    Advice to Management

    Raise the pay
