Bruegger's General Manager in Nashville, TN:   (Past Employee - 2007)

    Pros

If you enjoy the quick-serve niche of the dining industry, Bruegger's is a fantastic place to work. Great concept and great hours of operation. Good bonus program and regular recognition from the corporate office.

    Cons

Poor experience with immediate supervisor- very little constructive feedback and development. A management position in this region always exceeded the promised 50 hour work week- and earned vacations were always difficult to schedule. Very high turnover on the management end.

    Advice to Senior Management

I would suggest that Senior Management spend more time teaching and developing those in charge of running one or multiple stores on how to manage people more effectively. Business is not solely based on numbers and profits. Regional Managers should posess the abililty to motivate and inspire others- and lead by example.
